【摘要】:1.1Scope.1.1.1*Thisstandardshallapplytotankvehiclesusedforthetransportationofasphaltornormallystableflammableandcombustibleliquidswithflashpointsbelow200°F(93°C).1.1.2Thisstandardshallalsoprovideminimumrequirementsforthedesignandconstructionofcargotanksandtheirappurtenancesandshallsetforthcertainmatterspertainingtotankvehicles.1.1.3Theprovisionsofthisstandardshallnotprecludetheuseofadditionalsafeguardsfortankvehiclesusedforthetransportationofflammableandcombustibleliquidshavingcharacteristicsthatintroduceadditionalfactorssuchashighratesofexpansion,instability,corrosiveness,andtoxicity.1.1.4Theprovisionsofthisstandardshallalsoapplytocutbackasphaltsthathaveflashpointsbelow100°F(37.8°C)andtoliquidstransportedattemperatureselevatedabovetheirflashpoints.1.1.5TherequirementsforaircraftfuelservicingtankvehiclesshallbeinaccordancewithNFPA407,StandardforAircraftFuelServicing.1.1.6AtankvehicletransportingaflammableorcombustibleliquidininterstateserviceshallbeconsideredtobeincompliancewiththisstandardwhileitisininterstateserviceifitmeetstherequirementsoftheU.S.DepartmentofTransportation49CFR171?179,?HazardousMaterialsRegulations.?
