【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardestablishestheprocess,principlesandterminologyofbusinesscontinuitymanagement(BCM).ThepurposeofthisStandardistoprovideabasisforunderstanding,developingandimplementingbusinesscontinuitywithinanorganizationandtoprovideconfidenceintheorganization'sdealingswithcustomersandotherorganizations.ItalsoenablestheorganizationtomeasureitsBCMcapabilityinaconsistentandrecognizedmanner.ThisStandardprovidesasystembasedonBCMgoodpractice.ThisStandardisintendedforusebyanyonewithresponsibilityforbusinessoperationsortheprovisionofservices,fromtopmanagementthroughalllevelsoftheorganization;fromthosewithasinglesitetothosewithaglobalpresence;fromsoletradersandsmall-to-mediumenterprises(SMEs)toorganizationsemployingthousandsofpeople.Itisthereforeapplicabletoanybodywhoholdsresponsibilityforanyoperation,andthusthecontinuityofthatoperation.ThisStandarddoesnotcovertheactivitiesofemergencyplanninginasmuchasthattopicrelatestocivilemergencies.
