【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcovershot-wrought,specialqualitymicroalloyedcarbonsteelbarsintendedforuseinapplicationswhereas-rolledmechanicalpropertiesaredesired.Atypicalenduseishydrauliccylindershafts.1.2Thebarsshallbefurnishedtochemicalcompositionandmechanicalpropertiesasprovidedherein.Chemicalcompositionisbasedonstandardcarbonsteelgradesmodifiedtoincludemicroalloyingelementssuchascolumbium(niobium),vanadium,ormolybdenum.Threestrengthclassesareavailable,designated75[520],80[550],and100[690],correspondingtotheminimumyieldstrengthinksi.1.3SectionsandsizesofbarsteelsavailablearecoveredinSpecificationA29/A29M.1.4SupplementaryRequirementsS1toS5areprovidedforusewhenadditionalcontrolsorrequirementsaredesired.Theseshallapplyonlywhenspecifiedonthepurchaseorder.1.5Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetextandtables,SIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.6Unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation,thematerialshallbefurnishedtotheinch-poundunits.
